GMC trucks are the best, June 24, 2009
By gnome from las Vegas, NV
"I've owned GMC trucks for over twenty years and from my experience GMC is absolutly dependable, solid performing and fun. I use mine for off-roading, hiking and camping. Truck tent in the back, grill on the tailgate!"

BIG TRUCK FOR A SMALL GAS WORLD, November 3, 2008
By icechicken from richmond, va
"In an effort for save on a gas bill of over $150.00 a week I had to make a move. My 2500hd Extended cab with the 6.0 was driving me into budget debt quickly. I found the new Sierra and took a test drive. The new engine management system was a good start and i was surprised to find it very driver friendly. Showing 21mpg on the sticker is one thing but actually proving it is another. I now have driven it for 3 months and am pleased to find i am averaging about 20 mpg as compared to the 13 I was getting in the heavier truck. The 4 cylinder to 8 cylinder switching is not noticable to the driver and is fantastic on the highway.
The ride of the new sierra is far superior to the previous model. Much like a car in manueverability and firm ride when towing or pulling.
The interior is comfortable and spacious with every thing is in arms reach. Styling is new for the new model and gives it a distinct truck look with some styling for dress appearance.
GM has done a wonderful job with the new trucks. The world has gone from big trucks and suv's with big gas tanks to electric vehicle and small tanks. If you still need a truck but need to be thrifty on gas day to day the new sierra 1500 with the new management system is definitely worth a test drive."

Denali Sierra 1500, July 29, 2008

"Luxury with a truck bed! The only think lacking in this truck is a Diesel version of the truck which should be available 2009. Handles great for it's size. Great looks and awesome detail. Did I mention great looks. Trust me you will be happy with this purchase. Interior quality far surpasses it's compitors in its class. Yeah does'nt get great gas mileage but this truck is built for truck people.. It's no gas saver but I dont care I can afford it."
