yaris 2007 review, August 26, 2009

"Let me just say if you are buying this car as a commuter car your good to go. I do 63 miles each way 5 days a week and if I fill up on Monday I then fill up Friday on the way home. It is a fun zippy car to drive. I cross the Bay Bridge every day and though I have read the car moves with a strong wind I have yet to have any issues.

For those that want to change the oil on the Yaris it take 3.8 quarts. If you go with 4 you really will put in my to much from what I have seen. The filter is located on the passenger side just about arms length. It is easy to get too.

I have a Tacoma and it just gets driven on the weekends to do house and lawn work.

A great car!!"

"I like how Toyota moved the speedometer to the middle of the dash. That way I was able to install a aftermarket nagivation system right behind the steering wheel. The Yaris is easy to park and the 3 door liftback has 4 storage spaces in the dash. I like how Toyota offers automatic and power steering. Too many other imported economy cars do not offer a automatic, something a disabled person like myself needs. Power mirrors should be standard on all cars instead of a option like on the Yaris"

Yaris Sedan 2007, December 12, 2008

"I have had my car for almost 2 years in March, I love it when it is just me. Everyone else that rides with me complains that the seats arent comfortable and the space is too small in the backseat. I rode in the backseat and YES it is small and you can BARELY fit 3 people back there in comfort. But I love the appearance they way the radio and the whole middle console is made. Do wish that the cup holders were a lil different and wish there were bigger compartments to hold things. But all in all with MPG! It is wonderful!!! But I think If I had to re-choose I would take the new 2009 Corolla for the space."

"The Yarrrr-us. My wife and I love this car. We bought the 2 door and it is just big enough for us and the dog. It gets great gas mileage and it is zippy in the city."
