"My Pontiac Torrent is fun to drive and easy to look at. The adjustable rear seat allows me to have the kids in reach when needed and provides a little more leg room when transporting taller passengers, i.e, adults. Cargo space is plenty. The placement of the automatic window buttons took a little getting use to but proved to be in a convenient place. Child safety locks are adjusted using the car keys, making it impossible for the kids to turn them on and off at their convenience, which my kids have done with all of our previous vehicles. The car drives well with little to no jerking or loud engine reving during automatic gear shifts and power steering makes the car easy to control. The turning radius could be a little better but overall it's a great drive!"

"I rented a 2007 model for a 16 hour drive to IN. After such a comfy ride to IN and back, I decided to make my next purchase a Torrent. I enjoyed the control of the vehicle on the road, its' ability to shift easily through multiple terrains and it was economical and efficient. After researching the models, I choose the 2006 because it had the same basic features I enjoyed about the 2007 model. I usually drive Honda products, so this was my first American made car purchase. So far it's been a good choice. I still love Honda, but this is next on the list and it was much more affordable."
