140,000 and Still Running Strong, October 17, 2008
By Anonymous
"I purchased my 2004 Chevy Cavalier brand new back in 2003. I am a full time college student and commute 70+ miles a day and with the Cavalier I am able to afford the commute. I have 140,000 miles on the car and it has been dependable and great on gas I average 30 to 32 miles per gallon which is definitely a value. Also it only cost me $40 to fill up each time which is great! I'd recommend this car to anyone who needs a dependable car to get them around and has a limited budget!"

Great Car For The Money, May 17, 2008
By lmmadrig25 from Houston, TX
"Shopping for a good used car, the Cavalier ranked at the top of my list because of previous experience driving an older model that held up well to daily driving. This car is perfect anyone who wants a reliable, fuel efficient car to get them around the city. On the highway, I average over 30 miles a gallon and often forget the last time I fueled the car up!
Inside, the car is fairly quiet and comfortable, though the seats could be a little more comfortable. Instrument panel is easy to read, everything is clearly marked and I like the fact that they moved the radio higher and more user friendly with big buttons so you don't get distracted from the road. The two cupholders could be a little bigger and you often have to use the cupholder in the center console to hold a big cup. Overall, the car has plenty of space to store things and the trunk is pretty large, loading is easy with a wide opening.
Performance wise, this car handles nicely on the road, though in hard turns it leans a little. Steering is precise, making quick manuveurs a snap. Parking is easy, good for a night out when you need to park in a tight space! On the highway, inside noise is minimal and visibility great when changing lanes. Engine has plenty of muscle to pass up other cars, I enjoy passing up people in big trucks that take forever to pick up!
Overall, I love my Cavalier. It's a great car for students and those looking to downsize. The gas mileage is excellent without having to sacrifice performance. I expect this car to be as good as my old Cavalier, having few mechanical issues and running great with regular maintenance. Outside, the Cavalier looks great, the paint is high quality, and with the optional spoiler, it looks like a fast sports car! Mine being red further increases the sporty look!"

"i bought a 1997 Cavalier and never had any trouble with it. the only reason i bought another car is that i kinda "outgrew" the front seat...overweight! i kept breaking the side panel LOL. it drove smoothly and being i had just graduated college then, i was road tripping like every weekend to visit friends in 3 states. gas went far in my lil Cavy! i miss it. i have a 2002 Malibu now, but im looking to buy another Cavy....loved it then and love it now."
