Grandpa's van,

"My '03 Venture has been to places as far apart as Seattle, Washington to northern Georgia and a lot of places in-between. My grandchildren love it due to the DVD player. We love it because they can wear headphones keyed to the DVD player while we listen to our music, or have intelligent conversation.
The gas mileage ranges from 20 in the city to 25 on the highway. Yes, it could be greater, but it is an extended van and often carries a heavy load.
I follow the maintenance schedule and change the oil as required. I have been rewarded by the van alwayds getting me where I wanted to go, under its own power. We have braved the snow in Donner Pass, California and the oppressive heat of both Virginia and Nebraska.
As this was my retirement vehicle, we chose the extended van with almost all of the convenience options, even bun warmers that will start your day right on cold Minnesota mornings. The van wasn't cheap, but it was worth what we paid for it.
I would definitely get another one."
